Revolutionizing
education by making it
smart and agile.
A skills gap happens when the skill set that an employer wants or needs is different from the skill set the workforce offers.
As experienced graduates ourselves, we understand the frustrations of students and instructors when it comes to group projects. Ensightful’s mission is to ensure all students can experience, contribute, and learn from their peers and their projects.
A majority of us have had the experience of working in a bad team environment where we wished the project would end as soon as possible. The idea behind Ensightful started when the same experience happened over and over again, even after graduating from university.
We want to emulate how teamwork is done in the workspace and replicate that experience in group projects. After all, that’s what group projects are for, right?!
After spending our first year building iterations of our MVP and running our first pilots, we hit our first milestone. ASU is one of the most innovative universities in the US and its ScaleU accelerator program has helped numerous EdTech startups jumpstart their growth.
Needless to say, it was a big moment and a milestone to be accepted and invested in by ScaleU.
Fast forward another year - this time Ensightful is accepted to host our first ever booth at the EDUCAUSE 2021 Startup Alley. We were one of five companies hand-picked to pitch at the Under the Ed Radar Pitch Competittion.
To be recognized by one of the biggest events in EdTech was a huge validation for Ensightful.
Reimagine Education Awards has often been touted as the Oscars for Education. Naturally, winning an Oscar is a big thing for any company.
When Ensightful was selected to compete with 1,100 EdTech companies from around the world, we were already excited. Ensightful winning a Gold award and being shortlisted by many judges for potential impact confirmed that the need to improve group work is more imperative than ever.
Staying laser-focused on higher ed. It doesn’t matter how many milestones or awards we win, we will always continue our mission to improve both the student and instructor experience. While working with different courses, we realized that the need to reduce the number of tools students have to use is critical. This is why Ensightful will continue to build an all-in-one collaboration tool for group projects: from group formation to peer evaluation, everything can be done on our platfrom.
